Pack walk training

Before we introduce your dog into one of our packs, we do one on one training walks to go over their basic obedience and assess their behaviour around other dogs in a controlled setting. We generally do 2-5 walks first as we build our connection with your dog and go over the foundations that will lead to them joining our packs.

What happens during Training Walks?

We teach your dog a variety of skills for pack walks and to assist you at home - we can take short videos on request for you to see how we train a certain behaviour that you might be struggling with at home.

Stay/Wait
Down
Handler Focus
Heel/Loose lead walking
Appropriate Play

Every dog learns at a different rate so there is no specific order that we practice these skills. Walks range from 45mins to 1 hour depending on your dogs energy and how quickly they pick up the commands.
